With this is mind, we thought these magical moments, people and exploits should be documented. We give you the Piques hall of fame. Still no women on the board, I promise you that the Piques (male) staff are easily pleased.
We must stress that this is not an invitation to bring in your juggling knives and show us your hobby after 15 pints. These moments cannot be planned, nor can any of the people that make it on to the hall of fame.
Living legend here at Piques, been coming in for years and to most historians knowledge has only ever ordered the one drink...Smirnoff Ice black. Such is his dedication to the drink, he has never once swayed with his commitment to 'the black'. He has asked fellow punters to resist from asking for autographs and we would ask you all to respect his decision.
Who knows where this spaniard came from, or how he got here, but what we do know is this... he has drank enough sambuca to kill a small horse. Thankfully, as yet he hasn't realised that we offer sambuca on thursdays £ party for...yes.. you guessed it.. a pound. Surely its only a matter of time before somebody tells him or he learns some more english...
Two worthy contenders for the hall of fame, love the cocktails (who doesn't) love the staff, love the music, love the ladies. These guys have a lot of love, watch out though... they'll get ya! As for the guy in the middle, a definite contender for FHM's 'Who the Hell are You', but more importantly, one of the boys who hopefully has as much love as our aforementioned friends.
Moley is his name and drinking is his game. There is a bible that lives at Piques showcasing 2500 cocktails, regrettably for Moley, he found it and made it his mission to drink them all... last count he's done 1045! He did have a little hiatus in the Spring, we thought maybe his liver had packed in... then he came back raring to go! Conclusion: Liver transplant.
Nasher is another living legend here at Piques. Holds the record for the most Big D's drank in one night. Can you guess? WRONG! 32 my friend, 32. Granted he was bed bound for two days but that's irrelevant! There was a time when this man came into Piques every day but another health warning was issued so we don't see him as much although he still shows his face regularly to check to see if his record still stands.... inevitably it does.
